Chemistry is Key
We met at Florida Atlantic University through Konbit Kreyol Dance Troupe in Fall of 2013. We were preparing for the annual Best Haitian Dance Troupe Competition, and ended up being paired together as dance partners. At the time we were strangers to one another, which did not help with our dance “chemistry”. So we decided to take some time to have a conversation and get to know each other to build the “chemistry". The rest is history, fast forward here we are today getting married!
I thought we were just having date night at The Living Room, a boutique restaurant, where we went for our first Valentine’s Day. After a few moments of being seated and looking through the menu, I looked up and saw all of my family, friends and photographer walking towards us with a “Will you marry me” sign. I looked over to Jeff, he was on one knee with a beautiful ring.
Climbing the rocks was definitely an experience making sure we didn’t fall, felt like an adventure. During the workout session we actually broke a sweat.
Overall we had an amazing session, Kareem had us feeling like models; it felt natural.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to other couples for the session?
Relax, and act like it was just you and your significant other - connect with one another. It will result in beautiful shots.
Can't Please Everyone
Wedding Planning has been great so far. Remember that you should not worry about pleasing others, you will not please everyone. Remember at the end of the day, its about you two and what you both want.
